Sonicor “AW” series, vertical agitation parts cleaning systems utilize a multiple-technology approach to address each critical parts cleaning application. Gross contaminants on external part surfaces and in flow-thru internal surfaces are removed by the aggressive mechanical action of vertical agitation in the heated aqueous detergent solution. Parts with a more complex geometry however, may include blind holes and internal surfaces that can trap contaminants, and are not effectively cleaned by vertical agitation alone. These hard-to-clean areas are penetrated by the optional Sonicor “BandScanner” sweep-frequency ultrasonics, to complete the job.

All Sonicor agitation washers are constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel to ensure durability and reliability, even in the harshest industrial environment. Available filtration, turbulation, and oil separation systems provide the process control and flexibility needed to ensure parts cleaning consistency as production requirements change.
